ARRIVALS

We strongly request patients to arrive 10 minutes prior to their appointment to make sure that your chart is in order.

BOOKING INITIAL INTAKE / NEW PATIENT APPOINTMENTS

To secure your appointment time on our busy schedule we require a credit card to be placed on your account. The card will be charged in the event that you do not contact us within the cancellation period. The card will NOT be charged if you contact our office within the required 48-hour cancellation period (see below).

CANCELLATIONS / NO SHOWS

Due to the overwhelming request for appointments, there is a 48-hour cancellation policy. Your appointment must be cancelled at least 48 hours prior to your scheduled appointment or you will be charged full price for your scheduled visit. You may cancel your appointment by calling the office. If calling after hours, please leave a message. Tel: (865) 588-1125

If you are not able to come to your scheduled appointment due to an emergency or unforeseen circumstances within the 48-hour cancellation period, please let us know as soon as possible so that we can schedule other patients in that time slot.

You can also email us your cancellation request at least 48 hours in advance. Email: [email protected]

LATE APPOINTMENTS

Patient satisfaction is at the top of our list and we're striving hard to ensure all patients are seen in a timely manner. We realize situations arise beyond your control such as bad weather and unexpected traffic.

If you are late for your appointment it creates a domino effect that impacts other patients’ scheduled appointments. It makes sense to us to try and impact as few people as possible and appreciate your understanding that if you are late, we will have to reschedule your appointment.

FOLLOW-UP APPOINTMENTS

It is important to continue your plan of care by utilizing our follow-up appointments. If your follow-up appointment was not booked at the time of your initial visit, then you should contact the office to schedule a follow-up appointment.

You will be receiving a phone call from us after your initial appointment to see how you are doing and answer any basic questions you might have.

Lab work may be recommended as a component of your care. Our practitioner has more than 15 years experience interpreting test results and using medical data to investigate health care concerns. Our practitioner will work with you to suggest lab work that will be of value in investigating your specific health concerns and monitoring your progress while in our care.

While we do not conduct lab work at Traditional Health Clinic, nor are we are a lab work provider, we can advise you on which tests to order through your primary care physician and/or insurance. We can also advise you how on how to order lab work as an individual health care consumer. Separate fees apply for lab work. Interpretation of routine lab data from other providers is usually included as part of the fee for a Treatment Only appointment. More extensive lab data analysis is typically addressed within a Consult/Treatment appointment.
